What’s Trending?

It’s a must-have brunch drink that only requires two ingredients. Everyone has their own idea of what a perfect mimosa is. We all have different preferences for the ratio between orange juice and sparkling wine.

You should be aware of @socialsami’s viral hack for mimosas if you are a lover of mimosas with a champagne base.

What is the Mimosa Hack?

We’ll use a few slices of orange to freeze orange juice instead of pouring it into a glass and adding champagne. Orange juice ice blocks keep the mimosa chilled and allow the OJ to slowly melt into sparkling wine, giving it a subtle citrus flavor. The orange slices brighten and enhance the zesty flavor of this sparkling drink. You can also see our other articles. pretty!

Try this recipe at home by halving an orange and cutting each half into thin slices. Nestle 3 slices in a well on a large tray of ice cubes, 1 slice each side. Then, place one piece at the center to make a rose. Gorgeous, right?

The larger ice cubes will melt slower, keeping your sparkling wine chilled and infusing it with orange juice. Squeeze fresh OJ from a container or grab a box of OJ. Pour orange juice into each of the wells, and then place the tray in your freezer. Drop an icecube in a coupe and add bubbles.

This mimosa hack is worth it?

Absolutely! This is ridiculously simple and it looks amazing. It takes a while to freeze orange juice, so prepare them at least a few days in advance. The orange juice cubes will last for two cocktail parties if you use a large tray. The mimosas are perfect for brunches at bridal showers, breakfasts during holidays or other occasions that call for something festive.

You should go above and beyond to achieve your goals. Highly Juicing clementines and tangerines is a great idea, as they have a sweeter taste than oranges. Another great option is blood oranges, which are perfect for a Christmas brunch drink.

This hack also worked with tropical juices, and it was an absolute home run. Since it is almost strawberry season, I will be making strawberry mimosas next. But you can rest assured that all year round, I will experiment with different seasonal flavors.
