Katie Bandurski For Taste of Home
This Cozy Earth Cuddle Blanket is made from the softest, most luxurious faux-fur fabric that our testers have ever seen.
What is Cozy Earth’s cuddle blanket?
Cozy Earth Cuddle Blankets are popular all over the world. Enjoy a Taste of Home The “best blanket” rating on our list is a testament to the fact that it was chosen by our testing team as the top blanket. This blanket is heavier than any other Cozy Earth blanket we have tried. It’s also incredibly stylish when draped on an armchair, modular sectional, or other inviting furniture.
The throw is available in two different sizes, a large 80 by 60 inch and a smaller standard size of 60 by 50 inch. The faux fur is long and silky, similar to a luxurious, ultra-soft coat. The luxurious outer surface is substantial, plush and wraps you around like a warm hug. Cuddle blankets are available in a variety of colors including espresso, walnut, dove gray, and creme.
Why we love it
Madi Koetting/Taste Of Home
We praise the Cuddle blanket for its luxurious faux fur that is as soft and plush as it appears. Katie Bandurski, Deputy Editor at the Chicago Tribune has had her blanket since June 2025. It was not used much in summer, but she loved to snuggle up in it during the cold Wisconsin winters.
The fabric is so soft that I was shocked when it was first taken out of the package. My husband laughed and said it was like being wrapped in giant Jellycat or chinchilla. Katie says, “It’s one of the most soft things I have ever touched.” For three months I reached for the Cuddle Blanket whenever possible. The Cuddle Blanket is the perfect companion to read, watch TV or work from home. “I found myself petting fabric on my couch mindlessly.”
The Cuddle Blanket looks the most like the Lola Blanket, which has become a viral hit. The blankets are buttery soft and oh so snuggly. Lola Blankets has a 14 day return period. Returns must be unused, undamaged and still in their original packaging. Cozy Earth Cuddle Blankets, on the other hand, come with a sleep-trial of 100 nights. A 10-year warranty is included for all purchasers.
It is still an investment. Katie says that the Cuddle Blanket does live up to its hype. I have not yet found another blanket that’s as soft, warm and luxurious.
Katie discovered that small spills or stains can be cleaned by spot-cleaning. The blanket can be washed in the machine if it is hung to dry, but its sheer weight and size make it difficult to wash. Madi Koetting, editor of the magazine The New Yorker, washed a smaller throw in her washing machine with no problems. If you plan to wash it frequently, this might be the best option.
